Skills and Requirements

  • DEC in office automation or a combination of experience and/or training deemed equivalent;
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience as a customer service correspondent in a comparable position, in the manufacturing sector (an asset);
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing, in French and in English;
  • Ability to solve problems;
  • Demonstrate initiative;
  • Resourcefulness;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Ability to prioritize;
  • Ability to learn;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Good listening skills;

Reporting to the Director of Customer Service, the Customer Service Correspondent must ensure daily follow-up of customer and representative requests. He or she will be responsible for :

  • Receive and document orders;
  • Enter orders into the computer system in order to put them into production;
  • Follow up on customer orders and releases on a daily basis;
  • Analyze customer needs and manage their inventory;
  • Analyze the customer’s needs and manage their inventory; Perform the necessary follow-ups with customers, representatives, departments and other factories as needed;
  • All other related tasks.
