Jimmy Garfinkle

President and CEO

Jimmy Garfinkle is the president and Chief Executive Officer of Mitchel Lincoln Packaging. Joining the Mitchel Lincoln team in 1978, under his father’s leadership, Jimmy started his career in sample making and working on the corrugator on the floor, learning the various elements of the business from the ground up, eventually leading to his current position which he has held since 2007.

Jimmy has instilled a customer-first philosophy upholding the mantra of “On Time, As Ordered” as the backbone of all decisions made, big or small. He provides strategic guidance for the company, and is deeply involved in every aspect of quality assurance and team growth. A recognized leader in the industry, Jimmy shares his expertise within the field in his role on the board of directors of the Canadian Corrugated Case Association (CCCA).

Jimmy is actively involved and committed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, from both a personal and professional level. He loves golfing, skiing, hockey and travelling with his wife and children!

Normand Bonin

Executive Vice President and CFO

As Mitchel Lincoln’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Normand provides leadership for financial, legal and resource management, ensuring smooth, consistent operations across multiple offices and plants. Normand draws upon his over 30 years of experience here to maximize impact, value and efficiency.

Starting as an assistant to the VP Finance in April 1988, Normand has leveraged the knowledge gained from both his CPA and MBAs to instill and reinforce disciplined practices with his colleagues, guaranteeing that the exacting Mitchel Lincoln standards are applied at every stage of the business. Whether it’s in his involvement in the management of our Drummondville Division or the acquisition of our Vaudreuil, Saint-Pie and Imacor Divisions, Normand is a detail-oriented, results-focused individual and is relentless in delivering results with a customer-first approach.

Normand is very proud to work for a company that promotes family values. He loves travelling and relaxing at restaurants with his wife and sharing time with his family members and friends.

Pierre Aubry

Vice President - Operations

Pierre has over 45 years of experience working with corrugated packaging and brings this extensive experience to his role as VP Operations, where he is responsible for leading the company’s production process. Having started his career on the factory floor, Pierre is known for his deep knowledge of all areas of our business, a knowledge that is only enhanced by his role as a member of TAPPI.

As an accomplished production manager, and strategic operations advisor with an extensive career in the corrugated industry, Pierre is responsible for many of Mitchel Lincoln’s most complex production projects.

When he is not on the plant floor, you can count on finding Pierre on the greens practicing his golf swing!

Claude Dubé, CPA, CMA

Director IT and Costing

Unfailingly passionate and resourceful, Claude brings a 40-year tenure to his role as Manager IT and Costing. Claude’s unparalleled knowledge of our products and overall business operations is heavily relied upon, especially with his high motivation to continually advance Mitchel Lincoln’s IT department and business evolution. As a CPA / CMA Claude plays a pivotal role in insightful analysis on all aspects of the business, from costing to purchasing and operating efficiencies. Claude combines his ability to attract great talent with strong leadership skills to motivate and coach his team members to achieve all established objectives.

Alex Garfinkle

General Manager - Cavendish Division

Alex started working at Mitchel Lincoln in 2013, but would say he’s been in the box business his whole life. Since working summers at Festival/Côte-de-Liesse Division and in customer service, Alex knew he wanted to work in the family business. As General Manager of the Cavendish division and in his sales role, Alex brings passion and energy to every project, with an enthusiasm that is infectious across the Mitchel Lincoln team. Never one to accept the status quo, Alex is constantly looking to innovate and evolve the business, bringing new ways of thinking to every project he works on. His drive to innovate is only matched by his dedication to customer satisfaction; he cares about all his clients’ businesses as if they were his own.

Alex’s passion and commitment extends beyond what he demonstrates daily to our customers and his colleagues. Alex is actively involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and on weekends in the winter, you can find him skiing down Mount Mansfield in Stowe, Vermont!

Mike Goriani

Vice President Sales and Marketing

With the company since 1995, Mike is a senior member of the management team. He is currently responsible for the team’s sales strategy, facilitating corporate growth year over year. Mike strongly believes that relationships are the foundation of a superior and durable business. A strong proponent of networking, Mike leverages his relationships to promote Mitchel Lincoln and, under his leadership, we have assembled the most experienced sales team in our industry. Prior to this position, Mike was General Manager of Mitchel Lincoln’s sheet plant and distribution outlet for 12 years where he gleaned a profound knowledge of production and supply chain management of packaging supplies.

Mike is often heard saying that the sole reason for our existence is the customer; without their support and loyalty, there would be no Mitchel Lincoln. His strong leadership and dedication to mentoring have earned him the trust and respect of our colleagues and customers alike.

In his free time, Mike loves nothing more than spending quality time with his family and giving back to the community as sitting Governor of the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association (CIBPA).

Eric Alain

Vice President - Human Resources

Eric Alain joined the Mitchel Lincoln team in late 2020, taking over the reigns as our Vice President of Human Resources. After an extensive career as a human resource professional and manager, Eric brings to Mitchel Lincoln a talent for union management, team management and leadership, all with a background in the transportation and production industries to support him. A member of the CHRA since 2008, he ensures he stays abreast of updates in the HR industry, all of which helps foster the collaborative team environment he works diligently to create wherever he goes.

Eric loves to spend time outdoors. He takes any opportunity to hike or kayak and spends a few weekends each summer camping with his family!

Lindsay Garfinkle

Director Digital Business Development

Having started her career in the advertising industry, Lindsay joined the family business in 2018 in the new role of Director of Marketing and Digital Business Development. To this role—and goal of bringing Mitchel Lincoln into new areas of business development—Lindsay brings: over 7 years’ experience working in the digital space; an innate curiosity to explore new avenues; and her tenacity to overcome any hurdles that stand in the way of Mitchel Lincoln achieving that goal. Lindsay approaches each challenge with knowledge and insight, deftly guiding the way as we move into new digital and marketing domains.

Lindsay shares the rest of her family’s passion for skiing, and when she’s not at work or on the slopes she can be found spending time with friends, family and her labradoodle puppy, Morty!

Mark Amir

Manager - Sales

As a Sales Manager, Mark Amir leads a team of sales representatives offering training, mentorship, and problem-solving when necessary in order to ensure that all clients are being served with the quality Mitchel Lincoln promise. Having worked in corrugated sales for over 30 years, he has spent the last five years sharing his extensive knowledge with others; specifically, his in-depth knowledge and experience in preprint and on litho projects.

When he’s not in the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his family (he’s been married longer than he’s been in the industry!), travelling, motorcycling and model car building.

Diane Gagnon

Controller

With over 35 years of financial and accounting management experience, Diane plays a pivotal role overseeing all daily financial and accounting operations of the company. Joining the Mitchel Lincoln team in 2006, Diane combines her ability to attract great talent with strong leadership skills to motivate and coach her team members to achieve all established objectives.

Under Diane’s leadership, the accounting department ensures the performance remains on the forefront of both internal and industry expectations, always bringing her optimism and enthusiasm to the job, something that is infectious and spreads to the whole team! Overall, she is known for her encouraging nature, ensuring that both her employees and the overall Mitchel Lincoln team always evolve and progress.

In her free time, Diane works hard to maintain an effective work-life balance, prioritizing her mental and physical wellness and of course, making sure she always has time to spend with her family!

Yvan Bournival

Manager – Production

Our production manager, Yvan Bournival, has worked in the packaging industry since 1992 beginning in the costing department at Emballages Victoriaville (now Mitchel Lincoln Drummondville). Over the years Yvan has had the opportunity to wear many different hats, building up his experience with roles in the costing, technical and production departments. He has held his current role as Production Manager since 2016, a role that benefits from his extensive knowledge of our business and industry—expertise he has built up throughout his career. His attention to detail and dedication for the role shine through in all he does, as he ensures that all production operations at Drummondville meet and exceed Mitchel Lincoln standards, with continuous improvements being made at all times.

In addition to his passion for the industry, Yvan loves to find time to spend with his 4 children, sharing his enjoyment of outdoor activities.

Patrick Carrier

Director - Shipping and Material Resources

Patrick Carrier has been an integral part of the Mitchel Lincoln team since he joined in 2017. He quickly took on the key role managing all maintenance and repairs of our factories and leading several improvement projects. Most recently he has taken on the role of Manager of Shipping and Material Resources and is a key player in ensuring that we are able to continue to produce and deliver on time, as ordered. As a member of our labor relations committee, health & safety committee and social committees Patrick continuously looks for opportunities to help to improve the level of quality and team work for all members of the Mitchel Lincoln family.

Sylvie Couture

Manager - Specs Department

Mitchel Lincoln has been fortunate to have Sylvie Couture’s positive attitude and fantastic attention to detail as part of our family since 1986. Starting out helping to put together our catalogues, Sylvie’s hard work and diligence helped her grow and move through various departments of our business, ultimately leading to her current roll of Manager of the specs department at our St. Laurent division. Known for her meticulous work ethic and realistic outlook, Sylvie helps ensure that all of our product specs are in line, ensuring that all product engineering is executed as planned.

Dora Deluca

Manager - Customer Service

Dora is a senior member of Mitchel Lincoln’s Customer Service department, having served as the director of customer service for the last 31 years. She is known for her ability to deliver exceptional client service, and exemplary commitment to living our mantra of delivering orders “On Time, As Ordered”. After getting her start in the production department, Dora adapted her talents for strategy and communication to the customer service department where she is able to bring her passion of serving customers to the forefront; a passion which is shared with and by her loyal and dedicated team.

Her love for her work and Mitchel Lincoln doesn’t end with her day-to-day role, Dora has been an active member of our social club for 34 years, helping to plan events for colleagues and their families to enjoy—including of course her husband, children and grandchildren!

Gilles Deguire

Sales Manager

Gilles is an experienced Sales Manager, with 30 years’ experience in the packaging industry. Over the past 10 years in this role, he has focused on managing many major accounts and developing new business opportunities in conjunction with his team. Known amongst his colleagues and clients alike for his excellent attention to detail, everyone knows they can count on him to never miss a detail and put the best product forward each time.

Outside of the office, when he’s not spending time with family and friends, Gilles is an active cycler (a member of several clubs and a charity event participant), and enjoys swimming, snowshoeing, hiking, playing guitar and does admit to needing an occasional rest and kicking back to watch Netflix.

François Deragon

Manager – Sales

Having joined Mitchel Lincoln as Sales Manager of our Drummondville division in late 2020, Francois leverages his sales experience in the CPG and Food industries to lead a team of representatives in bringing in new accounts and maintaining strong customer relationships. An avid hockey fan, Francois says that for him joining the Mitchel Lincoln team was like being drafted to the Montreal Canadiens, a passion which he pours into all he does!

Diran Didonyan

Manager - Credit

As our Director of Corporate Credit, Diran found a great opportunity to flex the muscles he developed in his time as a psychosocial counselor working with troubled youth in juvenile detention, making him one of the most feared debt collectors in the industry (just kidding!). With this diverse and solid foundation, Diran has built his career in Corporate Credit for over 22 years and is known for his approachable demeanor and ability to work out arrangements that are equitable for all parties. He works closely with the sales and accounting teams to maximize client experience, value and efficiency.

Emmanuel Eydan

Manager - Industrialization

As industrialization Manager, Emmanuel is responsible for any of the technical and engineering needs of our manufacturing process. His experience working at BOBST for over 25 years before joining our team, gives him invaluable troubleshooting skills and confidence to overcome all problems with machinery function making him a key leader in our process.

Angelo Figliuzzi

Assitant Manager - Production

An industry veteran, Angelo Figliuzzi has been part of the Mitchel Lincoln family since 1980. Over the years, Angelo has applied his passion for teamwork and learning to maximize his knowledge of our production process and grow into his current role of Assistant Production Manager. Known for his analytical approach to problem solving, Angelo works with the team to maintain and optimize Mitchel Lincoln’s production practices across all facilities.

Denis Lambert

Manager - Technical Sales Support

Since joining the Mitchel Lincoln team as a summer student in the factory, Denis Lambert has been an integral part of the team over the past three decades. Following a period developing his product proficiency in the plant, his career continued to successfully evolve in the technical design department, which he led for the past 29 years. He has recently parlayed this extensive knowledge in his new role as manager of the technical sales support team, allowing him to bring his expertise directly to our clients to ensure that they have all of the information required to make the best packaging decisions for their business.

Denis’ creative flair extends outside of the office; he lists photography, music composition and water colour painting as some of his favorite past times!

Daniel Langlois

Operations Manager - Display Division

Daniel Langlois, General Manager, Imacor Division brings over 30 years of experience in the corrugated display business to Mitchel Lincoln. After garnering substantial industry experience in the industry as the owner and VP of operations of a temporary display company, Daniel joined the Imacor team. As VP Operations, his strong knowledge base impacts on all areas of the business, from finishes to co-packing knowledge. Sharing this with all of his colleagues and clients at Imacor has allowed him to bring this part of our business to the next level.

An extremely hard worker, Daniel is known for his solution-first approach, making sure the final outcome and customer satisfaction is always at the forefront of all decisions he makes.

Daniel is an avid sports fan, who enjoys travel, good food and wine and spending time with his wife and children.

Hugo Laporte

Manager - Pricing

When Hugo joined Mitchel Lincoln in 2014, he brought with him a diverse experience in the manufacturing industry as Manager and Director of Technical Services. Now as Pricing Manager, he and his team strive to find the best packaging solutions for our customers, always at the best possible price. He enjoys staying on top of what’s new within the company and the industry at large and makes a point to keep himself informed on all that is going on internally and externally. Notably, Hugo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from U.Q.T.R. (B.A.A.).

Simon Larrivée, CPA, CA, M.Sc

General Manager - Vaudreuil Division

In addition to his more than 20 years of experience in the corrugated industry Simon, is both a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a master’s degree in management. As the General Manager of our Vaudreuil Division, Simon leads the Vaudreuil teams from initial conception through to final production on all projects. Joining Mitchel Lincoln when Induscorr merged with the Mitchel Lincoln family in 2014, Simon played an integral role in the team’s transition from independent ownership to seamless integration within the larger group of Mitchel Lincoln companies.

Simon is an avid world traveler. He loves to stay active, be it on his bike or skis, and loves nothing more than spending time with wife and children.

Maxime Lamelin

Manager - Production - Cavendish Division

With an electrical and sales degree under his belt, Maxime started his career with a focus on his electrical expertise, joining the Mitchel Lincoln Côte de Liesse team 13 years ago as a maintenance foreman. Following a recent promotion, he has taken over as Production Manager for the Cavendish Division. Over his 13 years, he has channeled his inventive spirit and never-ending curiosity into the development of unique solutions for Cavendish’s operations and machinery redesigns, big and small. Maxime’s drive for excellence helps to ensure that Cavendish’s practices are operationally at the highest level and align with Mitchel Lincoln’s work conventions overall.

Line Moreau

Manager - Customer Service

Responsible for customer service at the Michel Lincoln Drummondville location, Line has been leading the charge on pulling everything together to ensure all customers receive their products “On Time As Ordered” since she joined the Mitchel Lincoln family in 2015. A born leader, she has a comprehensive knowledge of all Mitchel Lincoln departments and leverages this and her resourceful nature to lead the Drummondville customer service team on all projects.

Stacy Poulin

Manager - Sales

Stacy is a Sales Manager with over 30 years’ experience in sales and manufacturing across the auto, aerospace, food processing, and of course corrugated manufacturing sectors in Canada and the US. His extensive sales experience is relied upon by the sales associates he leads (and his colleagues alike), proven time and again by his unfailing dedication of the mentorship of the junior sales representatives.

When he’s not in the office you can find Stacy on his motorcycle, or travelling with his family—two of his great passions!

Yvon Rainville

Manager - Sales

Yvon has been working in the corrugated packaging industry since the beginning of his career in 1970. With experience in all divisions, he has spent the majority of his career and all of his time at Mitchel Lincoln in sales-focused roles, an area where he has developed significant strengths, including, but not limited to costing and customer service. As Sales Manager in Vaudreuil, Yvon has been part of the Induscorr team prior to its acquisition by Mitchel Lincoln, actually taking charge of the initial set up of the plant and working to grow the sales team from the ground up. Yvon’s role in the team’s transition from independent ownership through integration with Mitchel Lincoln has been invaluable, helping not only the team on the ground in Vaudreuil, but also in educating the rest of the sales team on the Vaudreuil plant’s unique offering.

Yvon is a real family man! When he’s not at the office, he can be found spending time with his wife, children and growing brood of grandchildren!

Diane Roy

Sales Manager

As Sales Manager of our Drummondville division, Diane leverages her 35 years of experience in the packaging industry to lead a team of sales representatives in successful client acquisition and sales. Starting out as part of the management team at Emballages Victoriaville for a 10 year period, she played an active part in the Mitchel Lincoln / Victoriaville acquisition. With the acquisition, Diane decided to change her focus from overall management to helm a sales team of 8 representatives in Drummondville, covering businesses from the South Shore of Montreal all the way to New Brunswick. Diane’s passion for the industry is clear in all that she does; she is known by our clients for her excellent attention to detail and making sure they always receive the best possible service.

In her free time, Diane enjoys golf, bowling, curling and salmon fishing.

Karine Sicard

Denis St. Jules

Manager - Shipping & Building

Our director of shipping and building management, Denis St. Jules, brings 20 years of logistics experience to his role at Mitchel Lincoln. In addition to playing a key role in plant expansions, warehousing setup and imports / exports, he has been a leader in keeping our logistical practices at the forefront of the industry. Most recently he has propelled us to increase our eco-responsibility with the implementation of an energy-saving project that included the implementation of a solar wall at all of our factories across the province!

Out of the office, Denis lists travel and fine wine as his two passions, outside of his daughter and family of course!

Sylvain Taillon

Manager - Technical Services

Sylvain is a leading member of Mitchel Lincoln’s technical services department. With over 15 years experience as a foreman, Sylvain’s innate interest in the technical side of the industry and his background in industrial management developed a true love for the corrugate industry, which he fosters in a curiosity that helps develop unique solutions for our customers.

Bernard Martel

Supervisor - Specifications & Printing

As supervisor of our specifications and printing department, Bernard works closely with a team of graphic designers in our Drummondville division to manage production quotes and box design. With over 25 years experience at Mitchel Lincoln, Bernard is very experienced with our production process and with his design skill works diligently to ensure that each project meets our high-quality standards.

Roberto Sardelli

Specialist - Structural Design

As our Structural Design Specialist for the past 20 years, Roberto has been able to truly become an expert in his role and the go-to person for the entire ML family, particularly for our triple wall products in our Vaudreuil facility. Roberto fuses his impressive technical knowledge with a deep understanding of client needs to create new designs and drive the business forward.

Outside of work, he is a family man who loves going on trips and spending time with his wife and two daughters!

Julie Therrien

Customer Service Supervisor

Julie Therrien started her career at Mitchel Lincoln Vaudreuil in 2003 as a member of our accounting department. Her extreme attention to detail and ability to step into a challenge, and come up with a solution allowed her grow and evolve ultimately leading to her current role as Customer Service Supervisor. Julie’s experience in departments across the company allows her to maximize customer satisfaction by working closely with the production and order teams on an ongoing basis.

Julie loves to spend time with her partner of 25 years and their two daughters!
