Experience

In order to ensure the best possible outcome, experience matters. Within our ecosystem, our skilled packaging and printing specialists create, design, sell and distribute a constantly evolving product for a large network of clients across diverse industries. Our core strength is rooted in a solid understanding of our customers’ needs and continuously honing our product and industry expertise to serve you better.

As a team, we contribute to each other’s success and carry forward our core family values in all that we do. From junior team members all the way to our CEO, we are passionate about doing what it takes to surpass our clients’ expectations—all part of our service-first philosophy.

Quality

Quality without compromise: In addition to our lifelong commitment to delivering product “On Time, As Ordered”, we are equally dedicated across the board to delivering top-quality product and services to all our clients—big and small—for each and every order. Having been ISO-9002 certified since 1996, and more recently ISO 9001 certified, further enables us to lead the way in quality assurance and continuous improvement—including maintaining the certifications we’ve earned throughout the years, as well as actively pursuing new certifications, such as the HACCP certification currently in process.

Sustainability

We are industry leaders in innovation and sustainability and work hard to maintain our commitment to our environmental responsibility at a corporate level—to the benefit of us all. We are constantly evaluating and making changes to our production practices in order to reduce our environmental impact. Case in point: we recently installed a solar collector and heat exchanger system in all of our factories to decrease our daily environmental footprint.

We are proud to be FSC® certified under FSC-STD-40-004 Chain of Custody Certification since 2011. This certification underscores our environmental commitment to conservation through recycled corrugated packaging products. Our joint venture with New Forest Paper Mill allows us to offer boxes which are made from 100% recycled fibers from used corrugated raw materials, considerably lowering the amount of greenhouse gases emitted versus virgin fibers. The original fiber is treated and cleaned of all extraneous materials such as staples, tape, wire, glass, gravel or dirt, Styrofoam, and plastic. Once free of the non-fiber materials, the stock slurry is pumped to the paper machine. A uniform sheet is formed that is then slit and sent, in rolls, to Mitchel Lincoln for conversion into corrugated boxes.

Partnerships

Amplifying our impact, for you! Since 1968, Mitchel Lincoln has been a proud partner of Ontario-based Atlantic Packaging, allowing us to deliver exceptional service to the Quebec arm of many national clients and enhancing our ability to offer top quality products to our clients across all sectors. This long-standing strategic partnership is rooted in a history of collaboration which began with the founders of each company, Garfinkle & Granovsky, and continues with our teams today! It not only provides our customers with strategic manufacturing and distribution points across Canada, but together with Atlantic, we were also able to build our own recycled paper mill, New Forest Paper Mill in 2005, allowing us to produce high-performance liner board and medium entirely from recycled fibers!

Technology

State of the art is a state of mind. At Mitchel Lincoln, we are committed to continuously reinvesting in cutting-edge technologies and innovative practices that push us all forward. This is evidenced in all our facilities, plants, machinery and technological systems, and will always remain a priority and core value.

Community

We live where we work—and share the responsibility to help our community thrive. Mitchel Lincoln and our employees are proud to actively support a variety of charitable initiatives in the community including the Alzheimer Groupe Inc (AGI), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), The Diabetic Children’s Foundation, Jewish General Hospital, Foundation Centre Normand Léveillé and The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. Our team members also represent Mitchel Lincoln through various local charity walks and rides of their choosing, which we happily support. We regularly donate product and logistic services to organizations such as Habitat Québec and are always looking for new ways to engage with our community and give back where we can!

Marrying our commitment to the environment with our community support is also part of that commitment to giving back to our community. For example, each year Canadian consumers purchase over 700 million batteries. Over 95% of these are non-rechargeable single use alkaline, zinc carbon or lithium batteries. Used disposable batteries, which are often thrown out with the household trash, account for over 17,000 tons of toxic, corrosive waste each year—and can be damaging to the environment and human health. Through our battery recycling program, we are proud to be able to help divert used batteries from the local landfill. Battery recycling containers, made available to our customers and employees, provide a method of collecting and storing spent batteries prior to drop-off at an approved collection site.
